Steering businesses towards sustainable shores
At Blusink, we offer a range of innovative services designed to tackle environmental challenges while helping businesses achieve their sustainability goals. Our core offerings include Carbon Capture services, Restoration-as-a-Service, solutions for Marine Net Gain objectives and opportunities for co-sponsored carbon projects aimed at generating carbon credits for sale on the open market. Each service is grounded in cutting-edge science and a commitment to preserving and enhancing marine ecosystems.
Our direct carbon offsetting model allows customers to purchase offsets via deployments which we conduct with our ocean partners - people who can provide access to seafloor.
Through Restoration-as-a-Service, we revitalise degraded marine habitats, fostering biodiversity and ecosystem resilience. For companies seeking to achieve Marine Net Gain, our innovative technology delivers tailored solutions that enhance marine biodiversity and drive measurable environmental impact.
Finally, our Co-Sponsored Carbon Projects offer opportunities for collaborative ventures, allowing businesses to invest in scalable carbon-capture initiatives and generate verified carbon credits for sale on the open market.
Blusink’s services are designed to meet your sustainability goals while creating a meaningful impact on the planet. Whether you’re looking to offset emissions, restore ecosystems, or invest in carbon projects, we’re here to help you make waves in sustainability.
Offerings to support every business on their sustainability journey
our services
Restoration as a service
Example Use Cases
Corporate Sustainability: A business seeking to offset its environmental footprint partners with Blusink to restore a degraded sandy bottom, rhodolith bed or coral reef, receiving measurable biodiversity and carbon sequestration outcomes.
Government Partnerships: Coastal governments collaborate with Blusink to rehabilitate fisheries and protect shorelines, using the project to meet international
biodiversity targets.
Our restoration-as-a-service (RaaS) offering provides clients with turnkey solutions to restore degraded ecosystems, focusing on measurable environmental benefits and aligning with sustainability goals. The core components of our RaaS offering include:
1. Baseline assessment and customised restoration plan - aligned with client objectives such as biodiversity enhancement, marine habitat restoration, or compliance with regulatory frameworks.
2. Implementation and deployment of Blusinkies in line with tailored restoration plan. We can collaboratively engage with local stakeholders and provide advice on what other remediation technologies might be suitable. One of the best things about Blusinkies is that they can work in harmony with other restoration techniques.
3. Monitoring and reporting to suit customer requirements - working together to produce metrics tracking the progress and impact of restoration over time.
4. Third-party certification of restoration outcomes, enabling clients to use these efforts to meet corporate sustainability goals.
5. Ongoing maintenance and support for the deployment, including adaptive management.
Our B2B Carbon Offset scheme provides business and organisations with high-quality, verifiable carbon offsets to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
We have two types of carbon-offset offerings; one for businesses who are looking to utilise their existing access to seafloor/marine environments, and one for those who don't have seafloor access themselves but would like their carbon offsets to be high permanence, ocean based and high impact (with co-benefits such as biodiversity enhancement).
If you have access to seafloor, provided with an area (sqm) we can calculate how much potential for carbon capture there may be and what percentage of emissions you can offset using your existing assets.
Likewise if you don't have access to seafloor but have a specific volume (tonnes) of carbon you would like to offset, we can provide a price per sqm or per tonne.

Our MNG Services
Site assessment & custom deployment plans - working with you to assess your project site's current ecological state and biodiversity requirements.
Biodiversity enhancement solutions - deploy Blusinkies to enhance habitat complexity and provide refuge for marine organisms, contributing to measurable biodiversity gains.
Monitoring and reporting - work with us to develop comprehensive pre- and post-deployment assessment to quantify net gains and align your reporting with regulator standards.
Showcase sustainability leadership by integrating innovative biodiversity solutions into your projects!
As new legislation in Europe and the UK is likely to require Marine Net Gain compliance for maritime construction projects by 2025/26, businesses must adapt to ensure their developments contribute positively to biodiversity. At Blusink, we are uniquely positioned to help organisations meet and exceed these requirements with our innovative, science-backed solutions.
What is Marine Net Gain?
Marine Net Gain mandates that maritime construction projects not only minimise their environmental impact but actively enhance biodiversity in the areas they operate. Much like existing Biodiversity Net Gain legislation for land based construction projects, this forward-thinking approach is designed to protect and restore marine ecosystems, ensuring long-term sustainability for industries reliant on ocean resources.
How Blusink Can Help
Blusink provides a proven pathway to achieving Marine Net Gain through our Blusinkies, which have been demonstrated to improve marine biodiversity by providing a stable substrate for coralline algae and other benthic organisms. These ecosystems foster diverse marine communities, enhance habitat complexity, and contribute to carbon sequestration.
Whether you’re planning a port expansion, offshore wind farm, or other maritime infrastructure project, Blusink can help you achieve Marine Net Gain compliance while contributing to the health and sustainability of our oceans. Contact us today to learn more about how we can support your project.
Blusink offers an innovative partnership model that enables businesses and organizations to play a direct role in creating impactful carbon capture projects while sharing in their financial success. By collaborating with us, you can contribute to the fight against climate change while unlocking the potential for revenue from the rapidly growing carbon market.
How It Works:
Partners Provide Land or Funding
-
Seafloor Partners: If you control access to marine areas, you can provide the seabed for our carbon capture projects.
-
Funding Partners: If you don’t have access to marine sites but want to support impactful projects, you can invest in the deployment and management of our Blusink technology
Blusink Deployment
-
We deploy our proven technology to create marine ecosystems that capture carbon, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to ocean health.
Carbon Credit Certification
-
Once the project is established, we measure and verify its carbon capture performance, certifying the resulting carbon credits for sale on the open market.
Revenue Sharing
-
The carbon credits are sold, and profits are distributed among all joint venture partners, including seafloor and funding contributors, as well as Blusink.
Carbon market sales and joint projects
